LOOKS GREAT BUT MANUFACTURER QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES

Looking good, with issues - first order came with a dented side brace, the walnut stain is lighter than the picture and the stain was two tone. Another issue was that the manufactured box in the Amazon box was opened and resealed with Revain paper tape. It looked like it had been brought back for the same reasons. Ordered again as soon as problems were noticed. We held on to the 1st block until the 2nd came to see if it was this one - in short - no - we ended up having quality control issues with the finish when the 2nd arrived - the staples had flaws in the finish and one not exactly for wall mounting. the color of the walnut stain was much darker, not two-tone. The second also had 4 extra holes from the manufacturer that are not used on the top piece of wood that the wine bottles sit on. The add-on kit is not compatible with anything. Another reviewer thought they drilled the brackets in the wrong place - no, they drilled an extra set in the wrong place for the wine glass holder and moved on. Do yourself a favor, buy two and you may get lucky with two sets of parts to make one complete with no quality control issues. one returned in the box with the returned ones. We used wood from the second walnut shelf that was not two tone and had additional holes - the solution was that we used 4 short black screws to fill the holes that matched the other fasteners used to assemble the wine rack - cut them out. short and added a dab of glue to hold it in place. Photo Also one last note, do yourself a favour: do not use the wall anchors provided, they will pull out and your wine and glasses will one day shatter on the floor - buy the 3/16" 4 toggle screws the photo - due to the weight of wine bottles and glasses. You will need to paint the heads black and also drill some mounting holes on the 3/16" brackets to fit.Black automotive grade sandblast primer is perfect for the drum bolt heads. As my wife likes the look of this Liked the device I took extra steps to get it working for us, but for $60 you didn't have to fix those quality control issues to make it work.
