I used to like original tiles. Oh, the old days when life was simpler and in the struggle to find lost keys there was only one choice and that was tiles. .Tile helped me find my keys and my keys helped me find my phone. It was such a great relationship. And now that day has come. Counting. The Tile battery is dead. It felt like a waste of resources to send the tile back and buy a brand new one (all at a discount). I just didn't like this business model: good for them, but unnecessary shipping and waste). So I said goodbye to my little friend Tile and got the TrackR instead, which allowed me to change the battery myself. TrackR was great, it was smaller than Tile and I liked the app better. Just one problem: TrackR is broken. The small loop holding the battery broke immediately. I had to stick it with tape (photo proof is attached). Another bunch of keys, another disappointment, but then something happened, but will it really fix everything that went wrong in the world? Will it bring peace to the galaxy and defeat all evil? No, but it solved the issue of a removable battery in Tiles. This is Tilemate. And Mati, I like it. I love it. There are TWO, TWO tiles in this set. I bet they use a wizard to find lost keys in heaven because you can change the battery! We no longer bow to the "You must send your used tiles" corporation. I can do it myself. Except that this two-piece set also comes with two sets of Slims. I used Slim once. That wasn't so convenient. No keychain loop, no 3M sticker to stick. There's a battle going on here, a battle that's been raging since the very first title, and this poor set sits right at the center of it. buddies are great. Slims are less useful unless you have a really big wallet. They're convenient to slip into a pocket, but helpers are much more versatile. Tiles (little joke, you get it, I hope you get it). The tile can stop all evil in the world (a bit of an overstatement on my part) by making the Slims rechargeable or swappable with batteries. Oh agony, I'm torn, Thile, you're so close to perfection. Please, oh please, make the batteries on all Tiles removable or rechargeable (I've heard there's such a thing as wireless charging, the Tiles don't even need a charging port, just pop it on a charger) but how am I supposed to Knowing this, I just left a Tile Mate fan and was wondering if I used the word "leave" correctly.
