Review on NETGEAR WN3000RP πŸ“Ά WiFi Signal Amplifier and Repeater by Ada Maachowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

Excellent for domestic use; comes in handy when standard cable placement would be next to impossible. When set to repeater mode, performance drops significantly and occasional crashes occur. So I hardwired a router to it, and now I use it to share the web with others. This router's wired connections are nearly as fast as direct connections. Wi-Fi connections are completely reliant on the router from the moment they are established (ASUS RT-N16 cuts very little, but DLink-320 cuts very much, at least 2 times). Although there will be more than one network in this scenario, Internet access will be widespread and of high quality. This "bundle" does not come cheap, but the quality of the output remains high no matter how you toss the cable. In use for over two years with zero issues after initial configuration.

Pros
  • Easy to set up, fast, and with a good reception (see comments)
Cons
  • interrupts repeat mode signal
