I only give 4 stars for the performance. Sounds great and great video. Lots of players for money. In fact, I will never be able to use all the functions. However, I would say that it is cumbersome to use. Not very manual. Reads and recognizes discs very slowly. Random play requires the player to initialize each disc, which slows things down. It is difficult to eject all the discs from the player because the disc skip button rotates back and forth instead of one way. Plug it into the socket on the receiver so that it turns off when the receiver is turned off. But it doesn't turn on when the receiver is on. Requires separate recording. Not so hot what's up. Just an inconvenience.
