Review on Automatic Reflective Windproof Umbrellas Protection by Janelle Love

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Opens and closes quickly with one touch. I like the backward closed position.

Summer in Florida means it rains almost every day, so having an umbrella in the car is standard equipment here. Our old one was pretty tired and this is a great replacement. When it rains, you can open the car door, flip up the umbrella and press the button. It immediately opens fully to protect you and the interior of your car from the rain. The ribs are strong and prevent the umbrella from falling down in fairly strong winds. When you return to the car, simply reverse the process. Get into the car with the umbrella open, touch the button, and it will lock, and the water that has entered will close in reverse. You stay dry and a wet umbrella does not drip onto the entire interior of the car. The reflective edges ensure safety and are easily visible in the dark when there is light. The flashlight at the end of the handle is powered by three AG13 button batteries. They are easily replaced by unscrewing the lamp frame, pulling out the old batteries and inserting three new ones. I've noticed that the threads that attach the flashlight lens to the umbrella handle break very easily. So when tightening them, don't play Superman or you'll break the threads. The cover is great for storage and can also be slipped over a wet umbrella to prevent water from ruining the car. Just make sure you empty the reservoir of water before storing your umbrella. When you get out of the rain, also open your umbrella to dry it. The vinyl cover does not allow the umbrella to air dry. So if you don't air dry it, you'll end up with a moldy mess.
