The shoes themselves are very good. Tapered, well built and very pretty. The problem I've been having lately (not sure if this is the right place to express my frustration) is getting items like this shoe that are USED. I mean they're ok and I can tell they're new, but I also see very quickly that SOMEBODY ELSE tried them on. Or maybe go for a walk. Then they decided that those shoes weren't for them. And that's great, because if we don't try them on in the store, we have to make sure they fit at home. The main problem I have is that this pair of shoes is being sold as "Brand New - NEVER USED". You will be shown photos of the product as it comes off the factory line. And you PAY the price for a brand new pair of shoes. What I see is a pair of scuffed boots, the inner paper filler has been removed, balled up and simply boxed. The laces have already been inserted by whoever untied them. And there is a faint, not too noticeable smell. Don't get me wrong, the shoes look and feel brand new. But obviously there was a potential previous owner who tried them on and I want the pair of shoes I paid FULL price for to look exactly like what I paid for. The same goes for the blanket I recently bought. It was open, misfolded, and isn't it illegal to sell used bedding to someone? Well they sold it as BRAND NEW again. But it's actually not BRAND NEW. Someone else opened your product. And now you are using YOU used brand new items. I'm just saying.
