I understand they are translucent but they all look the same and are almost see through. Good product but definitely not the colors shown in the kit. It comes with everything as listed, I suggest you purchase additional polygel colors to mix with if you can't see the difference. It only looks good for bunions as you can embellish and see the effect. It may not look very good on areas of the nail bed. I give stars for excellent packaging. Although I will find a way to not get the kit working for a beginner. I will try another set but I will not buy this one again. I really liked the accessories, there was just no color in the gel.
