I needed my security camera to display the image on monitors in two different rooms. First I hooked up a monitor directly to a "Y" side, the security images were great, then I hooked up a 50ft VGA cable to the second "Y" side, my monitor has one right away "Ghosting" effect. I thought maybe this wouldn't work for my needs, but after looking up the problem online it said it happens when you connect "Y" to a "dead end" wire. As soon as I connected the 50' cable to the second monitor the "halo effect" disappeared and the images on both monitors were as good as one monitor before the splitter and 50" cable were installed. Recommend this to anyone who needs a second remote monitor.
