Review on Smart bracelet HONOR Band 5 Global, blue by Czesawa Jasiska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I had previously been using a Mi Band 3 for about a year. Since the Mi Band had issues with this—it did not account for daytime sleep—I purchased the Honor Band 5 particularly to measure my sleep. In general, I like everything, with the exception of the way the notifications are implemented: the icons do not show, and since Telegram isn't listed among the programs, I have to expose all the spam that gets to the phone. with comparison to Mi Fit for Xiaomi, synchronization with the Huawei Health app is more faster, and there is also a link to Apple Health. In conclusion, upgrading from the Mi Band 3 was entirely justified, although you may still want to consider the Mi Band 4. Take the Mi Band if notifications and music switching are more essential to you. If Honor Band has superior performance and more precise sensors.

Pros
  • The following features are included: an oximeter, a soft strap, a flicker-free color screen, a nice oleophobic coating, and a quick alarm setting that takes place as soon as the application is opened. - Reliable sleep monitoring
Cons
  • Few dials; the timer is hidden in "More" (on the Mi Band 4 in a similar fashion); the battery is smaller than in analogs; I had to set the constant pulse measurement to "smart"; otherwise, it lasted for a few days; notifications are annoying; and there is no Telegram support; finally, the strap needs to be tightened quite tightly for the oximeter to function.
