The hat is very pretty, but it smells like it was made out of something totem. This is no joke. I bought this hat for my husband for Christmas and couldn't even give it to him because it smelled like a dead animal. The smell dissipated somewhat within a week and then I tried to pass it on to him. He smelled it and refused to ever wear it. I'll try to wash it, maybe it will help. I should have just sent it back but due to the cost of returning it I decided it wasn't worth it. I will not be buying hats from this seller again. The seller must smell what he is selling. It couldn't be the only hat that smelled like that.
