I was happy to find a decent hat that fit my 25 inch head but. When I got it, there was a slight chemical smell. I thought it was ok, I would just wash it. I hand washed the item and gosh the smell got about 100 times worse! I have machine washed it in the cold and air dried it twice with no improvement. Was it stained with the runoff from a toxic waste dump?! Seriously, I'm not exaggerating how bad this thing smells. stay away, away!
