All of you cat parents already know how hard it is to get your furry little ones to play with something new. I have a cat (guilt side pictured) who is rude on my mat. I also have an older cat who has thick claws from not scratching enough. I wanted something low for him since he's older, I wanted my other cat to be able to scratch him in place of my rug, and I wanted something that wouldn't look out of place and fit well in my living room. This cat scratcher meets all of these requirements. I had to bribe my cat to sniff catnip and she came and investigated. It's light but surprisingly durable, it doesn't slip much. Haven't caught them doing it yet but sometimes they use things when I'm not around so hopefully they use that. Doesn't look like the fiber can be replaced so the entire unit would need to be replaced but the Fiber seems to last a long time.
