This is my second pack of 3 Mikita filters (first 3 filters still work but are a bit dated and worn out after 2 years of use). The Mikita handheld vacuum and its filters are good for picking up dust, dog hair and crumbs quickly. I love that these Mikita filters are reusable. It is best to wash these filters in the kitchen. I don't know, and since Makita isn't an airtight filtration system, I don't know if you can still get a good answer to your question. All I can say is that we loved our Makita for the small cleanups and easy vacuuming of our carpets and hardwood floors, and we loved that the filters were easy to wash and reuse (use a spray faucet - they clean the filters very well). ). However, we gave our Makita to our daughter who lives in a small NYC apartment and bought a cordless Dyson (2 1/2 times the price and 2 1/2 times the weight) because we lost a lot. Dog. The larger Dyson certainly cleans our dog's hair better (much better at 10x the dog's hair per minute) - but I lack the ease and convenience of getting the Makita out of the car. our closet in the hallway in a matter of seconds and do small cleanings. However, the Makita is perfect for my daughter's needs. But if you're looking for a closed system, you won't get one with a reusable vacuum filter - there will always be an air leak and a spray faucet. A spray and some cleaning product like dish soap or Windex will wash away dust and dirt.
