Bought for my kitten. She hates being in a cage but otherwise works fine. She can run away if she tries, but I only take her in the car and to go shopping. As soon as I go for a walk she loses interest in fighting and tolerates short periods of time. The carrier is only as good as the pet. I think it's big enough for her to keep growing into adulthood and I can still use it. I love all the holes on it, but if you're traveling on a plane and your pet is constantly trying to get out, you'll need little zippers on each hole to hold the zippers together.
