Review on Alpine MAZ254 Hanging Layered Fountain by Dany Hamilton

The perfect addition to my zen garden with some limitations

So first I just want to say that this fountain is simply beautiful aesthetically. This is the perfect addition to my zen garden. I have a small open space of only 11 inches between the fence and the deck right where I wanted it and I have room. I didn't really want to spend more than $90 on a small fountain, but this was the best rustic fountain I could find. Well, here's what I didn't like: 1. First, the product was poorly packaged. It was sealed in its original packaging with poor quality clear tape. It was half open when I received it because the tape wasn't holding it together. I expected more from Revain Prime. Luckily no parts were missing. It was also wrapped wafer-thin in a thin bubble wrap, so the bottom was scratched by the sharp edges of the hanging coasters. I didn't worry too much about going back because he already looked upset, but the damage could have been greater. Second, as you can see on my wet fence in the video, it splashes quite a bit even when I didn't turn on the plants. As others have mentioned, please note that this should be kept outdoors in a place you don't mind getting wet. This is because water does not enter the hole cleanly, but hits the surface of the grate, causing micro spatter. Expect to charge after a few hours of use to get a good flow. Thirdly, as can be seen in the video, the water spout had to be bent backwards slightly so that the water could flow cleanly into the first cup. Rather, it flows along the handle of the cup, which takes away the beauty of the stream. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and applaud the other reviewer for including plants in the base of the fountain. I shamelessly stole this idea 😁
