Review on πŸ”Œ 36-inch PMMA Plastic Optic Fiber Side Glow Cable for LED Light Source (4mm) by Marco Roberson

This fixes Nvidia GPUs with RGB LED lighting that look like they're failing

I have several Nvidia GPUs at home ranging from 1080tis, 2080tis and 3080/3090. They are all from different manufacturers, Asus, Zotac, MSI etc. All RGB GPUs seem to use the same type of fiber optic cable that 'carries' the LED lighting on top of the GPU card. This fiber optic cable turns milky white over time and does not allow the colors of the LEDs to show through. lover of random things. It looks like the LEDs on your GPU are going out. In one of my photos you can see that the PC has a GPU on the left side where the red LED doesn't go all the way through the left side of the GPU. While this defect is covered by each manufacturer's warranty, you will need to send your GPU in for service. I came across a suggestion on the internet that recommended replacing the fiber optic cable. This task takes no more than 15 minutes and anyone can do it. This particular glowing plastic fiber optic cable was the best of the 3 I ordered. It's 3.28 feet long, which is enough to run a single GPU. It's been over 6 months and this fiber optic cable is way better than the one that came with the GPU. It still shines just as bright as the first day I installed it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to fix their "broken" GPU LED lighting.
