Reliable and easy to use. My freezer works in the garage in the winter when temperatures are too low for the freezer to work efficiently. Plugged it into the door switch and connected it to the relay on the controller and I powered it from the many 12v outlet adapters I have. The temperature exceeds -16C and the fridge light comes on, heating up the area around the thermostat (on a fridge the thermostat is only in the fridge compartment, not the freezer compartment) causing the compressor to turn on. When the programmed target temperature is reached, the light goes out and finally the compressor as well. Ice no longer melts and food no longer thaws in the freezer.
