Works very well despite other negative reviews

So I would like to start by saying that this product works very well if you take the time to watch some videos and follow the process. As for me, I somehow got some scratches on the windshield of my new BMW. I don't know how they got there, but I could easily feel them by running my fingernail over them. Luckily those scratches were in the 4x6 area. I used a combination of an electric drill and an angle drill. I started sanding with 320 grit (I was a bit apprehensive about starting with 100 grit) and gradually worked my way up to 7000 grit. I found that spraying with water helped the sanding process. Don't let your glass get hot. I couldn't see the scratches before, maybe they were buried in the haze of the sanding. I switched to slurry agitation and started the polishing process. Take the time to watch some videos about it, it HELPS! So I started polishing with very light pressure and realized that it would take plus 1 forever to polish this and I started frantically thinking about other options like a hammer and then a call to the insurance company. missed something, yes, it turns out that during the polishing process you need to apply quite a bit of pressure, and then you will see significant results pretty quickly. I switched between electric and angle drills mainly for ease of use and to work on a specific area of the windshield. Don't let the slurry dry out, keep a water bottle handy to spritz as needed. I also spritzed on a felt pad, which really seemed to help. Overall I would say it took about an hour. Keep in mind that I had a bit of a learning curve in how much pressure to apply. Bottom line: You couldn't find the scratch even when I told you which half of the windshield to look at. It is immaculate, no tarnish and no scratches. Despite all that, I'm very happy with how I was able to remove the scratches and restore the windshield to factory condition.
