What I was looking for

The padding is dense and compact, the main zipper is of good quality. The fabric stretches a bit and the inside is a nice soft material. It fits both my iPad mini and my small keyboard. The front pocket is a good size for a pen and has some stretch. Lightning there has less traction. It's not soft like the main bag, but it's made of good, durable material. I haven't tested the water resistance but it looks like a synthetic material and the zip is pretty good.
