Terribly uncomfortable

Okay, I should have reconsidered these shoes. I bought these to replace an aging pair of Nike golf shoes that had a few holes and started to leak on rainy/dewy days. They looked good, were affordable (bought on sale for $40), and had no rivetsโ€”all good things. I thought I found my new pair of golf shoes. Ah, I was wrong. The first round with them I was limping after the first hole. I made the mistake of wearing socks, and the heel of the boot rubbed the skin on my Achilles tendon. Luckily, I always have medical tape in my golf bag so I could just patch the torn skin and keep playing. So I put on higher socks and went outside. The same thing. Problem. Even with socks, it was only a matter of time before the heel of my boot rubbed against my tendon. Continue working with limp and tape. I tried these shoes on three more rounds, the last being a 9 hole short course last night. You simply CANNOT walk in these shoes. General. yes they are light You look good. But they absolutely don't do what they were designed to do: keep my damn feet comfortable. With them in the trash. Don't make the same mistake I did.
