Review on πŸ”¦ Nilight 162W LED Light Bar Flood Spot Combo 25" - Waterproof Off Road Driving Lights for SUV UTE Truck ATV UTV, 2-Year Warranty by Paul Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best spot/flood panel I've ever had.

Easy to install/mount on my car. I have a push rod with flat skids in the front with pre-drilled holes for fog/off-road lights and this 25" rod is perfect for the spot. Of course I measured it for fit before buying it. I chose this one because the mounts were adjustable and waterproof. In the past I've had headlights with minimal drag and all the lights went out on the road. There's nothing more terrifying than driving through a downpour when the headlights go out and you're left in the dark. WHAT brings me to Part 2: Use a relay with a switch to connect the light! (Lesson Learned) I bought (Nilight LED Panel Harness Kit 12V 5 Pins Rocker Switch Laser On/Off Waterproof Switch Power Relay Fuse 2 Wires 2 Year Warranty) for this reason only. When you plug in a light with that much power, it can wreak havoc on your electronics under even the best of circumstances. The relay isolates the lightbar's power source, preventing power problems such as blown fuses and fires. This reduces the power delivered to the switch in the cab and sends all that 162 watts of power to the engine bay lights where it belongs. The Nilight wiring harness was worth the safety and security of the install. I had no problems installing this lightbar, mechanically the brackets are a little different than expected but took a little time to see how to assemble and adjust, they are easy to install and very strong and adjustable. I see they also have mounting adapters for mounting on roll cages and light posts which might be another option for some. My truck is not a rock climbing and mud swamp animal like others, mine is a daily driver and I travel 9 months of the year at 7,000 to 12,000 feet with the weather changing by miles. I can be in the sun and dry roads and five minutes later 18 inches of snow and ice in white conditions and icy roads. The presence of additional light is very useful. Blocked roads are not an option. I even have to cross a river or two to get to some of the gear repair locations. You won't go to the grocery store in the truck without your rescue gear. Absolutely the best flashlight I've ever had. I will buy more Nilight products.
