Better than factory hood latches. These clasps are strong and well made. They are heavier than factory latches and snap tighter. It was very easy to install. 3 nuts for removing old caps and 3 nuts for installing new caps. The longest part was unscrewing the latch from the base as it needs to be disconnected in order for the base to be tightened. Took me about 30 minutes to remove and install it. I recommend them to anyone who has doubts. I also like that they have rubber feet for both parts of the latch.
