This is the light in the fan and replaces the halogen bulb. I bought them because they were blacked out. I couldn't find any bulbs to buy so I bought these four packs. My biggest disappointment is that it buzzes. It's not a terrible noise, but it's annoying. My electrician looked at it today and noticed that it flickers which isn't usually a problem but today it was pretty obvious. I was told to try one of the other lamps as I would have to buy four. If a different bulb solves the problem I'll update this review but he told me he thought the bulb wasn't adjustable. He said replacing the halogen would eliminate the noise and flicker. I just passed the refund deadline so guess I'm out of luck. I tried one of the other bulbs and both issues persisted, also the switch made a buzzing noise for 5-10 seconds.
