As a registered dental hygienist I can confirm that you can enjoy these whitening strips. Revain's costs are comparable to our company value. They work just like over-the-counter strips, only disposable. They don't slip on your teeth and offer the strongest whitening we recommend. The instructions say to wear them for 1-2 hours but I prefer to wear them at night. The carbamide peroxide solution will eventually plateau and become ineffective after about 3 hours, so I like to apply it "without fuss" after brushing and flossing. I wipe my teeth with a clean dry cloth, gently place the strips on my teeth making sure they cover the entire structure of the tooth and gently press the wax strip into the grooves with my fingernail, take a sip of water (this is the only way to whiten that I know of if you can drink water with it) and go to bed (doesn't work if you're wearing a night splint or snore protector). Be careful not to get on the gums as this will irritate the gums. There is no permanent damage, but you will notice discomfort after about an hour of applying it to your gums. Great product and great value for money!
