Review on 🌈 100-Piece Mini Rainbow Marker Set by Jessica Lewis

oh possibilities!

When I was a kid (early 1980's) a COMMON and welcome gift was always a huge pack of 100 markers in different colors. They always came in a plastic bag and when I received them it was like a huge gift of creative opportunity. I wanted to try each color but didn't want to open the box because I just wanted to sit and look at all the colors in manufacturer order. It was one of my favorite "toys" when I was a kid. I was a bit upset when I realized they weren't made anymore, those giant plastic wallets with 100 fine line markings on them. Of course, there were paint boxes and "art pens," but that wasn't it. Then I found this. This is a *mini* set, meaning the markers are slightly shorter than regular fineline markers. But it's still a BIG presentation - the body is quite large (we're talking 18 inches when folded) and the colors are bright, vibrant and beautiful. I can't comment on the durability of the markers, but sometimes it just doesn't matter. This is just the presence of 100 colors of felt-tip pens for drawing. Everything seems possible. I gave them to my daughter and her friends, but I'm seriously tempted to get them for myself, use them on my calendar, and just do a few chores around the house. All in all, lots of nostalgia.

Pros
  • Pens and markers
Cons
  • Big and chunky

I love these, they have colors that are impossible to find in other sets.
