Review on Newsoul Upgraded Portable Monitor with Built-in Speakers - 13.3" 60Hz Portable Screen Display, Type C Monitor by Francesco Sanchez

One word and two punctuation marks: Amazing!

I wish it had been earlier in my life. 2k resolution looks amazing. I have it next to a 32 inch LG 4K and the picture looks EXACTLY the same. 2K is the ideal pixel count for this 13.3-inch monitor. Sound: I see in some reviews that the speakers aren't very good. I'll put it this way, it sounds like a small Bluetooth speaker and does its job, even sounding good for music although it lacks bass. I'm not complaining though because using it for a portable Xbox monitor and playing game sounds without additional speakers or for a portable work monitor is fantastic for notification tones. Connectivity: The monitor is powered via USB C to a standard USB A port on the network adapter or to an available port on the computer/gaming system. I LIKE IT. There is no need to carry an additional power pack. Also, my laptop is equipped with Thunderbolt 3 ports, so only one USB-C to USB-C cable (included) is required for power and video transfer. I also have a mini HDMI to HDMI setup in my home office and it works as expected. Screen casing/stand: I still have a few wishes left unfulfilled here. Unlike iPads, which magnetically attach to predefined iPad tilt points, this monitor simply tilts and relies on friction to stay upright. I don't see it doing well in an airplane or maybe a boat where there's some kind of springy motion. It will eventually wobble from the movement. The quality of the cradle is very good. It feels comfortable and offers good protection when the monitor is covered with it. Finally, it attaches with magnets all over the back of the monitor, not just the top/back, but all over the back. Overall I like it, but if I could recommend one improvement it would be the lid. The monitor itself is perfect and the VESA mount option is too much.
