OMG. This is the best way to describe this purchase! Or maybe "perfect". Or "stylish". Or "beautiful". But you can also say "strong". Or "durable". After purchasing this set, I was so pleased with them that I even spent another $1,000 to assemble the rest of my Lenox collection. I love that I can wash them in the dishwasher and also use them to serve guests at an upscale dinner party. I love that I can eat it with macaroni and cheese and also serve things like steamed cooked or shrimp with garlic sauce. When I was growing up, my grandmother always had these beautiful Lenox figures, which were always beautiful flowers or birds. I have always been told how expensive they are and have always been amazed at their beauty. I had no idea Lenox made tableware. I thought it was just these little sculptures or Christmas decorations. But now I have an entire collection of tableware that is as beautiful as anything I admired as a child, and just as functional. I'm in seventh heaven of them. So if you can afford the extra money for this collection instead of Corelle, DO IT! Pick a pattern you like and just dive in! Be careful, it's addictive!
