This is a really comfortable duty belt, very durable, won't bend or twist when gear is loaded (it appears to be reinforced with some kind of durable pliable plastic). I bought this sling to replace the Condor padded work sling which didn't quite fit all of my gear and had a tendency to loosen/flex outward under the weight of loaded magazines. This strap that allows you to weave in and out an inner strap (I use a 1.75" cobra strap) to hold your gear. I carry a 5.11 thumb holster with the drop and offset kit and with my previous duty/combat belt I had to trim the belt to fit the holster to keep the belt from hanging in the thumb drive button. With this strap, I simply routed it through a specific section of the molle where I wanted the holster to fit perfectly! allows you to use either a Molle attachment mechanism or a traditional sliding strap (you just have to weave the inner strap to suit your needs). I'm 6'5" and 275 lbs. and the L/XL belt fits me perfectly. As for gear, I have a pouch with two magazines, a holster for a trusty flashlight, a trash bag, handcuffs and a Holstered for a 5.11 stick.It's quite heavy with everything but it's a lot more comfortable than any other duty belt I've tried.I just wish I'd found it sooner.And I have to admit I did because of the price I was a bit reluctant to buy the belt but after the first day of wearing it I realized it was worth it.
