This device really works as intended!
I used a suction cup to place the device in my Wrangler's dashboard tray. I took the rubber insert out of my tray and the suction cup has held up since day one. The claw keeps my iPhone 8 secure whether I'm extending my arm or adjusting it to record a ride. I'm actually surprised I haven't broken this yet, but it has endured a fair amount of use, taking my phone in and out multiple times a day and enjoying tweaking the settings from time to time. I would buy another one if this one broke.
