I bought this lightbulb because I thought it would make a great addition to my college dorm. Overall after testing it I think it will be a fantastic addition as it is cheap, fun and easy to use. Sound Quality: Much better than expected. This lightbulb sounds like a retail portable Bluetooth speaker. Highs and mids are exactly where they should be and nothing leaks out. The bass is less ringing than other areas, but for a lightbulb speaker it's as good as you'd expect and doesn't detract from the sound quality at all. Lighting and controls: fantastic. The iLink pairing app has many features that allow you to change the color and intensity of the light. It also offers multiple presets for different room atmospheres and many automatic color changing modes. Pairing tip: Turn on Bluetooth on your device, but don't pair it directly from the system UI - just go straight to the app and pair it there. When I first activated it, I paid before using the app and I had trouble syncing the app. The app is available via quick search in the app store and the QR code is also in the manual. I wouldn't recommend using this bulb as the only light in a room unless it's a small room (like a dorm room). . I first set it up in a large room and found that while it does illuminate the space around it well, the light doesn't spread far in all directions because the Bluetooth speaker keeps the LEDs from wrapping around. Overall, I give this device a 5 star rating for its versatility and fantastic price.
