for not very rough surfaces

I was trying to use this expensive part to plug a leak in the ground. As you can see, water flows under an expensive item and soaks nearby wooden structures. I do not recommend this product for rough surfaces, despite the seller's description. I'm sure it's great if you have a smooth surface. What I don't know Let's go back to the drawing board.
