2010 Honda CRY Radio Replacement

At first I was impressed with the screen quality and sound for the price. For that I give 5 stars. However, I bought the model with the 10" display and if I had to do it again, I would probably go for the 7" model. The 10" fits nicely in a double din hole (and looks pretty good), but overlaps the top vents by about 1/8". This is enough to keep the vents from shrinking. The ventilation slots cover the mounting screws of the radio. (WORD 22). So I had to loosen the rail screws on the din kit and move the screen forward to bring in the air vents. The bear climbed from the bottom up, to re-tighten the guide screws. Not sure the extra inches of screen was worth the hassle. Another problem I had was connecting the steering wheel audio controls. The factory CRY radio had to supply the necessary current through the resistive network of the buttons. So I had to find a solution to provide the voltage the Binize device was looking for. I used an inexpensive 5VDC regulator and a 1kΞ© resistor. The conclusions of key 1 and key 2 were connected via a resistor. I connected the CRV's brown wire to ground and the orange wire to the 1K resistor, completing the 5VDC regulator circuit. There might have been a better way, but I was afraid that the voltage of an unregulated 12 volt battery could drift, causing the buttons on the steering wheel to produce an unexpected or fluctuating voltage. For installation I bought a reversing camera, a double DIN radio. Kit, CRV wiring harness with antenna adapter,
