My son wanted a starry night light, this one works with a timer that you have 3 times and you can set it with a small remote control. I can set it long enough for it to fall asleep, but if I turn it off when I know it's asleep, it often goes to sleep after 20 minutes, so a 30-minute timer is ideal. Sometimes I turn it on in my daughter's room and when it turns off I tell her to lie down for a nap. This is great for a toddler who can't tell the time or keep track of the clock, but gives them a good visual cue. It's very bright, which is nice. It might be too much for some, but I think it's good. Will I buy again or give away.
