Luckily on the day these bags arrived I found two 10 pound bags of Krusteaz pancake mix in my pantry with a small hole in the seam of the bag! I opened the box of extra large storage bags and assembled them, not because it needed extra strength, but so I could sandwich the pancake instructions between layers without losing or spoiling them. I put the pancake mix in the bags and tied them shut and I'm not worried about them coming loose and falling apart. These are huge bags and definitely thicker than your grocery store plastic bags. I live on a ranch and in the fall we cut 8 to 11 beef. We also cut and pack them for the freezer and these large bags are ideal for customers who want to gift large cuts of meat (such as prime rib, beef ribs, brisket etc). We also smoke a variety of meats and in most cases these are larger cuts that require a marinating time which they are perfect for! I like the large quantity and quality of these bags. I had the opportunity to purchase them at a reduced price in exchange for my HONEST review and I am happy to recommend them to other buyers.
