I have chosen to write this review in response to other mentions of formaldehyde in the product. This table is made from medium-density fibreboard, which almost always uses formaldehyde. It is not unique to this product, so there is no need to align it for that reason. You probably already have at least one product in your household that contains MDF. They've done well so far, so don't let the material in this table influence whether it's working for you. With that in mind, this is a great little table for the money. It's a lot heavier and stronger than I expected. I used to have MDF furniture that felt flimsy, but now it looks like it will last for years. The drawer and hinged lid work great too. The instructions are easy to understand and assembly took me no longer than 30 minutes. Aesthetically the table looks great, the product arrived with no scuffs or scratches. I am very happy with this purchase.
