Great for eliminating VoIP hum and buzz
I recently added a land line using my ISP as the bearer. I found that when on the phone, both parties could hear a distinct noise like a buzz or buzz. I connected this little device directly to my phone and then connected my internet cable to it. Noise/hum disappeared immediately. If voice quality is important to you, then this little device is perfect. This device is not required for those who have landlines connected through a traditional telephone service provider. An excellent filter for eliminating VoIP interference.
