This book has been on my wish list for a while and I am very happy with my purchase. Firstly, it arrived a day early and I was like a kid in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory (Gene Wilder version). I flipped through the book as soon as I received it. The copyright information is followed by a table of contents (TOC). Immediately following is an overview of the basic crochet stitches, with each stitch explained in an easy to follow step-by-step guide with pictures to go with the written instructions. Next to the crochet pattern picture there is a matching pattern picture and then step-by-step instructions on how to crochet this pattern. It has 33 chapters and 500 stitch patterns. This will be an easy and quick reference for me. This book is suitable for both beginners in crocheting and experienced knitters like me. I've been crocheting since I was seven years old when my mother taught me to. That was about 50 years ago. I love reference books. I would recommend this pattern for any crochet skill.
