Great juicer at a great price

I don't write many reviews but I have discovered the fun of juicing and the Hamilton Beach Premium Juicer is part of it so I wanted to share my experience two weeks with a Hamilton Beach Premium Juicer. It's a powerful machine that has no problem with tough veggies like beets, carrots, lemons and limes with the skin and only copes with celery and cucumbers. Some have complained about it leaking, but I've found that it only leaks when the lid isn't tightly closed or there's too much pulp inside. I also added cheesecloth to the collection container for easier cleaning and so I can squeeze out any remaining juice when the process is complete. Gauze also provides a tighter seal. But you need to make sure everything is tight and sealed before you start. The only time it leaked was when I squeezed out so much juice that the lid was full and there was no room for the pulp. After cleaning, it no longer drips. The jug that catches the juice is also great for keeping foam out of the bottle. But I don't throw away or waste the foam, I put it in my Blendtec, add banana, avocado, and flaxseed, non-juicy fruits and veggies, and make a smoothie. Overall I am very happy with the Hamilton Beach Premium Juicer, especially for the price. I hope it lasts a long time, but I am sure that the blade will eventually become blunt, hopefully I can buy a new blade separately. I was also concerned about cleaning, but that's not really an issue, especially with Hamilton Beach's original brush to clean the blade. But if you overdo it with the juice and don't stop peeling the pulp, it can seep into the soil, making peeling more of a hassle. PS Don't smoke or move around the counter.
