You press the PWR button and it takes forever to turn it on or off. If you move away from the cell phone, it beeps constantly and is annoying. I've always bought Plantronics 165 but it wasn't available so I decided to try this one as it had good reviews. The most annoying thing is that when someone calls me, they play my ring tom in my ear, while Plantronics just makes a faint noise. It's pretty deafening when Dixie plays the sound of General Lee in your ears. Battery life seems good, but you never know how much battery life you have left, unlike Plantronics which tells you when to turn it on. It might have longer battery life than Plantronics, but they definitely have a Bluetooth market. I can't change the ringtone because I work near noisy machines and need to hear my phone without bluetooth. Back to the plantronics.
