Great idea, just wanted something to boost the sound from the tablet we are watching tv on in the kitchen. Problems arose immediately: 1. The volume control was so bad that when adjusting it there was a lot of static, popping and static. The cables are obviously unshielded, and it's almost impossible to fit the jumble of cables into a yoga-like arrangement where there isn't SIGNIFICANT electrical noise, making the sound almost entirely static or gritty. practically useless.
