Traveling Elephant!

I bought an elephant as a "business partner" and travel companion for my travel company TheTravelingElephant.com. I called it "Tripp the Wandering Elephant". She has a full story on her website. She travels with me and "stars" in my travel photos published on my blog. I like her because unlike a stuffed animal she stands up and doesn't take up as much room in a suitcase but has enough bones to stand on her own. She's not just static like a stuffed animal, she has a "personality". Her torso and mouth can be manipulated like a puppet so I can make her "smile". I took the elephant sound generator from the elephant dog toy and put it in his trunk so he could trumpet like an elephant. Its trunk is big enough for my wallet and camera if I don't want to take my wallet or fanny pack with me. I can hang her on a belt or belt loop with a carabiner and a rubber band that I put around her neck. Since I bought her in April she has been sailing with me in Costa Rica (I have very cute photos of her with a little girl in San Jose and one of the crew members of our yacht). She has also traveled from Rhode Island to Indianapolis, a holiday in northern Colorado, a 14-year hike in Colorado, and a speedboat race in Illinois' Chain of Lakes. She will travel to Yellowstone National Park next week, return to Chicago in September, and return to Chattanugo and Universal Studios in Florida in October. She is very funny and helps me to meet people when I travel. So far it's holding up very well.
