I'm an M3 likely going in to EM. I volunteer at a clinic that does not have otoscopes or ophthalmoscopes and thought that these might be an ok choice for use there; however, the ophthalmoscope is too bright to use on anyones eyes and very difficult to focus compared to others I've used.The otoscope only focuses at the tip of the covering that you put on, meaning that you'd have to hit the tympanic membrane before seeing it. This is painful and dangerous for the patient.Get a real one.
