Review on Electric bike Xiaomi Himo C20 gray (requires final assembly) by Micha Micha ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

Before buying, I used a 26 "city bike with a 3-speed planetary hub. I live in Hong Kong (roads and sidewalks - class, traffic jams - tin). Driving 30 km a day on a bike. Therefore, the task arose to buy a physically active, small, maneuverable, electric transport with a decent mileage. I looked at Xiaomi QiCycle for a long time. But small wheels, a separate purchase of fenders and a footboard, a small range, difficulties in controlling with one hand (when indicating turns on the road) and the fact that the model is discontinued . in general, C20 ! At the time of writing, the mileage is about 400 km and 1.5 months of operation. The sum of all disadvantages and advantages is always equal to zero! It's everywhere. And here it is important what disadvantages you are ready to put up with and what advantages are not important for you. Briefly on the disadvantages: -modes: I really use the 1st and 3rd, I think the 2nd is superfluous. By the way, when you hold the menu button for a long time, the bike seems to switch to PAS mode (pedaling assistance), and so it doesn’t help me. Although it can be a recovery mode (battery charge from the pedals). -heavy: I drag to the 3rd floor, but it will be hard for children and girls -pedals: you need to change to metal ones, many people on the forum wrote that they break. I have whole (but I replaced just in case) - a hole under the steering wheel with burrs: dripped sealant - problem solved - squeak at 15 km/h: easily treated by disconnecting the speaker plug -depreciation: but here, in fact, I’m fine, I’m partially driving along an earthen road, it’s normal, on a gravel road it’s shaking. You can lower the wheels - it will be softer, but the risk of tire puncture increases. You choose. Seat post? Maybe it will help. -instruction: difficult to understand at first, but now reviews are gradually appearing on the Internet -rear stop signal on the battery: well it's just my whim A few words about the trip in the rain. Everywhere they write that it is waterproof, but I went through the joints of the controller with sealant, just in case (collective-style in the photo). And so I went in the rain, washing takes place regularly. In general, I recommend!

Pros
  • - relative compactness -view - convenient location of the battery - powerful battery -pump (hidden in the seat post) - front light from the battery - full charge about 6 hours -comfortable fit (my height is 184, could still be raised) - battery locked -2 sets of wings included - you can ride in the rain -20" wheels -beautiful computer -6 speed - disc brakes - good build quality - stable footrest
Cons
  • -illogical modes (ECO - turns on when the speed is 5 or more km / h and helps to pedal up to 15 km / h, MID - only the throttle stick, picks up speed up to 15 km / h, HIGH - only the throttle stick picks up speed up to 25 km /h) - quite heavy - 21 kg - flimsy base pedals - the hole under the steering wheel where the wires go out must be deburred, otherwise the wires will fray - a squeak about exceeding the speed of more than 15 km / h - don't jump too hard on bumps - the instruction is completely in Chinese -rear brake light battery operated
