Pros1. Very well packaged and protected - the box it arrived in looks like 3 cubic feet. In the box is approximately 19 inches by 12 inches. Inflated airbags were all around him. When you finally get it out you'll see that it's about 12 inches square and about 1 inch thick. Has rubber feet on the bottom.2. Beautiful appearance3. Came with (4) AAA4 batteries. The wall mount is quite small and came packaged with batteries (batteries are included with the screen reader)5. Includes instructions 6. 10 year guarantee. PRECISION: Appears to be accurate on light objects, even thin carpet over concrete. However, tested on "person weighing". I had to call the phone number on the warranty card for more information; it took EVERYTHING for the numbers to get high enough to weigh someone. Protocol! But I tested over the same rug as the rug was already accurate for an item under five pounds. After the scale was placed on the bathroom floor, the numbers rose much faster and stabilized, allowing the scale to be read. The final reading is "locked" so a person can step off the scale and the reading will remain until unlocked by the power/tare button. So a score of "10" because the final reading is fixed, but a score of "3" because if you need a scale like this to weigh yourself, you probably don't want a LONG emotional wait . waiting for the numbers on the scale to keep going up! But it can weigh people - but with a leash with a number reader? This leash is VERY USEFUL for those who have a beer belly, big tummy or chest, bad back or loss of balance who cannot see their readings on a floor scale with numbers at floor level. (Think "bariatric weight loss programβ or retiree or someone with a disability.) Leash: strong "10β. Cons: 1. The screen reader needs to be attachable to the base. This would make it easier to create the backup later.2. The plug of the power plug should be flat for easy packing when moving. (e.g. mobile phone chargers are often stacked)3. Customer support hmmm - weird? When I called the man who answered simply said "Hello?" No company identification. Seemed annoyed, I called. I could contact the cleaner as far as I know! He was rude but helpful. It was a short call; he hung up. Just weird and unprofessional. TIPS: 1. Batteries are small and packed "2 in plastic". Four batteries only. You can cut this plastic with the pin of a fork. Saves searching for scissors or a knife.2. Save the Accuteck box and packaging in case you need them for a move or warranty. White foam holders are available to protect the screen and end caps and dial.
