Review on Disposable Cartilage Jewelry πŸ’Ž for Piercing - Personal Care Earrings by Lindsay Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use, works very well!

The whole process took about 5 minutes including unpacking, sanitizing, getting the necessary items and setting up. There was zero bleeding. There was some redness and slight swelling/throbbing for a few hours (be sure to do this in the morning to ease the discomfort throughout the day before sleeping in it for the first time). I still used rubbing alcohol to cleanse right after and 3-4 times a day for a few days afterwards... rotating the bolt heads each time so they don't stick to the healing skin. On the 2nd day I had no pain at all, on the 3rd day I swam in the pool (with bleach, lifeguard work). I am preparing to switch to other "cool" earrings now after 1 week. Teenage son wanted to get his ears pierced... athlete, 220 pounds. Muscular at 6ft 2in with thick earlobes. Large amounts of 70% alcohol were reused throughout the process (ears, hands, earrings/weapons). were even and aligned on both sides. (If uneven, use rubbing alcohol to remove/erase the mark, let dry, then place the new dot in the correct position.) 2) I placed the earlobe in the little gun's hole. I lightly/gently squeezed both ends of the gun, making sure the back of the earring/gun was snug against the back of his earlobe, until he said he could just feel the spearhead of the earring (making sure not to exact point of his earlobe before he "pulls the trigger" - to avoid being off-center during the actual fast/hard piercing). 3) I quickly / strongly squeezed both ends of the gun - pierced the lobe. a bit too strong (but better hurry up to make sure it's not half stuck) - as the back of the earring had to be loosened/pulled back a bit to fit and snap into the notch on the shank. The small blue plastic pieces that hold the bolt head in the pistol are breakaway pieces (in two halves, 2 per bolt). They fall off or can be pulled out for removal if left under the lug head on the petal.
