What I love most about this door is the ingenious door design that allows my cat to get in and out of the slider all summer long without meowing all the time in or out, come out, so thanks for that! Rschunimagu. Now for the serious review. The door works great as it is designed and looks good. I would give it 5 stars in all of these areas, but I had to simplify the installation part a bit because it required a trip to Home Depot (but it was a very small fix). The screws didn't work, they were just too short. Maybe it's because we have a pet gate and it's a bit thicker? Possible. A slightly longer screw would be ideal and would work with all types of screens. But other than that it was a pretty easy install, my husband and I did it in about 5 minutes, but it could certainly be installed fairly quickly and with minimal tools using a singleton. My husband is a builder so he always mods everything right out of the box. He decided to put a thin layer of glue around the seams to make it really strong and there were no gaps anywhere for the tiny flying critters. I'm not sure if he really needed it, but I can tell you he's very robust now, so it's not a bad little upgrade. The only downside is that the cat didn't come near him for a few days because he smelled the glue. But now she loves the door and I love her too. Feel free to buy this if you're thinking about it, just plan on taking the screws to your local hardware store and getting them together for a longer set (a dollar or two more).
