This product cannot be certified by any product safety committee. My dog approached him when he was "off" and he got electrocuted in his nose. Apparently, the electrical wires that kill the bugs are always live (current flows through them), even when the power is off! The on/off buttons literally just control the light, not the actual mains that is being powered. I used a multimeter to confirm this fact. The product certainly works, but it is also unsafe and potentially flammable under certain conditions. Just remember that there is ALWAYS current flowing through this thing and there is no way to turn it off. This means that when carrying a metal object, it can easily cross two grid wires and cause a short circuit that will literally explode the battery. SUPER UNSAFE!
