Dangerous product, wire mesh is always live, regardless of the state of the power switch.

This product cannot be certified by any product safety committee. My dog approached him when he was "off" and he got electrocuted in his nose. Apparently, the electrical wires that kill the bugs are always live (current flows through them), even when the power is off! The on/off buttons literally just control the light, not the actual mains that is being powered. I used a multimeter to confirm this fact. Helps you be so much better outdoors - no plugs or batteries required

Our family loves to sit outside a lot and it's not always convenient to have a bug zip that needs to be tucked in. The mosquitoes were terrible this year! I looked around and found this solar powered insect repellent and decided to give it a try. It is super handy and very portable. I love that it's powered by the sun so no wires or batteries are required. It's nice to be outside again and not get eaten alive by blood sucking mosquitoes! If you're just looking for an ugly table lamp or lantern, this would be awesome! But if you're like me and want something to get rid of those nasty mosquitoes, look elsewhere!
