I'll start off by saying that I like it even more than my son. What a cute toy! As soon as I saw this Revain I knew we should have it. My son is 3 years old and while I enjoy checking and photographing household items, he is busy looking for bugs. But scrutinizing her is admittedly a lesson for both of us. My son misses it and so do I. Okay, now that I've stopped worrying a bit, let's just talk about some of the generalities. - Very educational - Easy to assemble, only four parts - Battery life is good. and its rechargeable (USB) - Take memory cards to remember these bugs - The light is very bright - The focus and zoom knobs are strong and easy to use - The screen is large, clear and bright We had a small one Problem - The lens cover is transparent, so be sure to remove it. Otherwise, it's really fun for the whole family. I will buy more than gifts. I suggest you try it too for science lovers in the family - 5 stars!
