Packaged VERY nicely. Each length of lights was rolled and packed in a anti-static bag. Cables are nice and thick and extra wire length is included (20gauge). I unrolled the lights and laid in the sun for a while to get the roll shape out of them.Installed inside the carpeted topper shell of my Toyota Tundra double cab. The length was perfect for the 5' bed of this truck, and the VHB tape that came on them was plenty strong to attach and grip the carpet. It is not marked 3M but it is doing a great job holding, even in 90 degree+ heat back there! Was concerned and ready to replace with the "good stuff" but don't think I need too.Pics show how bright the light is even in the daytime, sure the high mount location is going to do a great job lighting up the entire bed at night (did this with work truck and is easy to see everything back there at night now).Wires simply spliced into the pathetic topper shell factory light. I used a roll of double sided hook and loop (Velcro) from Harbor Freight to cover the wires, (3/4" x 35' roll hook and loop cable strap- $7) I just pressed the rough side of the velcro right to the carpet, sticks great and no residue if I need to remove/repair the wires later. Used the same to hold the bundled wires to to the carpeted ceiling/walls of the shell, (not the cleanest looking job but I'll work on it more later). Nothing else needed to get this system working.Located the switch inside the glass near the gas strut attachment with some more velcro simply right over the end of the switch on one end and the incoming wire on the other and I'm all set! The switch is a push button with something of a rubber gasket on the button itself, but as the wire only comes into one side of the switch, there is a small hole on the other end that is not filled. If I didn't have a topper shell, I'd definitely do something to "weatherproof" this thing before leaving it out in the exposed truck bed.Note: These lights are not "sealed" the same way other strip LED lights I've used. Other brands embed the entire LED strip in some sort of clear resin that is pliable. This set has the lights in a hollow casing with caps on either end. They look sealed but I don't think I'd trying submerging them. Not sure this is fully sealed if used in an outdoor location, but since I have it in the protected location I do, I'm not worried myself, just FYI.
